Abu Dhabi, Sep 24 (TVN) Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the match by seven wickets defeating Mumbai Indians(MI) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabhi.
Eoin Morgan and his team KKR opted to bowl first against the defending champion Mumbai Indians(MI) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Thursday. As Mumbai Indians(MI) started with there Skipper Rohit sharma and Wicket keeper Quinton de Kock having a lavish partnership of 78 runs . MI scored 155 runs on 6 wickets in the first inning.
Starting with the second inning KKR batsman Shubman Gill played couple of good shots but was declared out on 13 runs out of 9 balls by Jasprit Bumrah whereas Rahul Tripathi played a magnificent inning of 74 runs out of 42 balls and was not out.
The player of the match award was given to Sunil Narine for his bowling where he took the Crucial wicket of Rohit Sharma.
