Delhi: The dawn to dusk Bharat bandh called by farmers unions against the three farm laws evoked mixed response on Monday.

Amid tight security arrangements the farmers protested across the country.

 The bandh had its impact near NCR and the places where the farmers were continuing their agitation for the past several months. The vehicular traffic towards Noida and NCR was affected for a few hours due to the agitation. 

Meanwhile elaborate security arrangements were made in view of the bandh . At some places the entry and exit points of Delhi metro was closed as preventive measure.

Heavy deployment of security personnel was made at all sensitive and vulnerable spots.

The metro cities including Mumbai, Banglore and Kolkata had little impact of the bandh.

In other states too the bandh had mixed response.

In Bihar , the entire opposition had supported the bandh of the farmers against the new agrarian laws where it evoked mixed response.

 Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress, left parties and Jan Adhikar Party leaders and activists demonstrated in the state capital Patna following road traffic was affected for a few hours.

Meanwhile the business establishments remained open  and the attendence in government offices was normal during the bandh.

The rain God, however played spoil-sport at some places as the bandh supporters had to take shelter following smart shower which was due to the impact of the storm, Gulab .
