Islamabad: In order to fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Pakistan lowering the vaccination age to above 12 has decided to vaccinate its citizens of 12 years old and above.

Chairman of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) Asad Umar in his tweet said that  special vaccination drive would be launched in the schools for easy vaccination of the children if the target age group.

In Pakistan 1,400 new COVID-19 cases were reporter during  the past 24 hours, raising the overall tally of the infected people to 1,241,825 in the country.


 Southern Sindh province of the country was worst hit where a total of 456,343 cases had been reporter followed by eastern Punjab province where the virus was detected in 429,655 people.
      
With 41 new casualitues , altogether  27,638 people so far died due to COVID 19 in Pakistan where 49,968 active cases have been found.
