Largest Khadi Tricolour weighing around 1,400 kg displayed at the Red Fort

New Delhi : India has achieved a milestone as it has administered 100 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine on Thursday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi twitted and congratulated the doctors, nurses and health workers for accomplishing the mission.
PMs tweet says -

We are witnessing the triumph of Indian science, enterprise and collective spirit of 130 crore Indians.
Congrats India on crossing 100 crore vaccinations. Gratitude to our doctors, nurses and all those who worked to achieve this feat. #VaccineCentury"
Director General WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus congratulated Mr Modi fir the achievement.
The WHO Director General writes on Twitter -
"Congratulations, Prime Minister @narendramodi, the scientists, #healthworkers and people of #India, on your efforts to protect the vulnerable populations from #COVID19 and achieve #VaccinEquity targets."
The vaccination drive was initially opened up for health care workers (HCWs) on January 16, 2021.
On the achievement 100 monuments across the country was illuminated in tricolour.
To mark the achievement a largest khadi tricolour weighing around 1,400 kg was displayed at the Red Fort in New Delhi where events and activities including launch of a song and a film were organised.
On One Billion Doses, the Hooting of Ships took place to celebrate 100 crore vaccine doses at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata .
Some artists displayed the achievement through sand art on the beach in Odisha.
The PM visited RML in New Delhi to attend the function organised to mark the event.
