Mumbai: The Bombay High Court today adjourned Aryan Khan’s bail plea till Wednesday 2.30 pm.
The HC began the hearing of his bail plea after the NCB submitted its reply against the star kid’s bail application.
The NCB in its reply said that “Aryan is not just drug consumer, but also involved in drug trafficking, tampering witnesses.” At present, he is lodged at the Arthur Road Jail along with another accused Arbaaz Merchant. Whereas, Munmun Dhamecha is at Byculla women prison.
Aryan Khan‘s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi told the Bombay High Court after it began the hearing for the bail application that his client was not a customer and had been invited on the cruise as a special guest. ‘In fact, no drugs were recovered from him and no medical test was done to prove he had even consumed,” Rohatgi told the HC bench.
Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3, 2021 by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after the central agency raided a cruise ship rave party off the Mumbai coast. The cruise ship was reportedly headed towards Goa.
