472 people donated their blood voluntarily in the camp



Agra: The Agra unit of Bajrang Dal organised a blood donation camp on Sunday in the memory of kar sevaks who laid their lives during Ram Janmabhoomi agitation.

The blood was donated in Lokhitam blood bank of Kamla Nagar in Agra where 21 people voluntarily donated their blood whereas 46 had got their blood examined.

The chief of Vishva Hindu Parishad Mahanagar Matth Temple Pappu Thakur and his wife Gayatri Devi kicked off the donation camp by donating their blood on the occasion of their marriage anniversary.

The regional convener of Bajrang Dal Rakesh Tyagi giving details said that hundreds of kar sevaks were done to death on October 30, 1990 by the then government. He said that indiscriminate firing was resorted following the orders of the then government on the kar sevak.

He said that to pay tribute to the departed devotees of Ram, Bajrang Dal annually organises blood donation camp and informed that such blood donation camps were organised in every distic of Brij region in which 782 people got their blood examined and 472 donated their blood voluntarily.

 Brij region Vice President of Bajrang Dal Sunil Parashar, secretary of a cell of Bajrangdal Rajiv Sharma, Satsang chief GP, regional co-convener Digvijay Nath Tiwari Pathak, Mahanagar Convenor Anup Verma, and  Mahanagar office bearers of Bajrangdal including Namit Singh,  Vinod Maahaur, Abhishek Sharma, Krishna Gautam ,Yogesh Nigam, Kapil Tyagi, Mukul Gujjar, Kanhaiya Sharma, Sajal Gupta, Rahul Varshney, Satya Prakash, Vishwajeet Patra, Aditya Sharma and others monitored the  entire process in the blood donation camp.
