We give a befitting response to border incursions with air and surgical strikes: UP CM
Lucknow: Indias self-reliance in Covid-19 vaccine, PPE kits and sanitisers’ manufacturing has proved beneficial for the entire world. The country which itself remained deprived of medical resources earlier, is helping in saving lives all around the world today, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations in the state capital on Wednesday.
“Our Nation attained the resolutions of Aatmanirbhar Bharat during the ‘Amrit Kaal’. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav means the ‘elixir of the energy of freedom’.…it means the nectar of inspiration from freedom fighters, the nectar of new ideas, the nectar of new resolutions. and the nectar of self-reliance," said the Chief Minister, adding that this nectar of inspiration from the past will further inspire the coming generations and will help in establishing a ‘New India’.
He further said that great revolutionaries like Mangal Pandey, Rani Laxmibai in Jhansi and Veerangana Jhalkari Bai, Udadevi had worked to carry forward the flame of independence in Uttar Pradesh. On the occasion, where around 51,000 children created a record by performing together, on the other hand, 21,000 children also gave the message of a ‘united India’ by forming a human chain.
CM Yogi Adityanath honours, pays tribute to freedom fighters, martyrs
Paying tribute to the freedom fighters and their valiant spirit, the Chief Minister said that today, the ‘New India’ is a representation of their vision, which not only helped the other countries during the Covid-19 pandemic but also, strengthened itself. “We are strengthening the concept of ‘Shreshtha Bharat, Sankalpit Bharat’, he said.
He said that we are working to raise the standard of living of every needy and poor by giving them houses and constructing toilets for them. Besides, facilities such as medical treatment, insurance of five lakhs under Ayushman Yojana, free LPG gas connections under Ujjwala scheme are also being given. In addition, the new India today also ensures a prompt response to any incursion on the countrys borders by launching surgical strikes. “When 135 crore Indians stay united and speak in one voice, then the new India and the best India comes to the fore,” he concluded.
