Patna: NCP said that parties indulged in caste based politics would face troubles after caste census as they were slowly getting embroiled in political googly.
NCP Bihar unit Vice president Naveen Kumar Singh said his party since long was in favour of caste census adding that it was surprising that leaders of parties indulged in caste based politics since long were were vociferously demanded it.
Mr. Singh said that there was not a single constituency in Bihar where anyone could get elected on the basis of strength of one particular caste. There were some influential and affluent castes in backward classes, snatching rights of those who were really backwards and deprived, he noted.
NCP leader said that caste census would definitely help the government in framing policies and allotment of funds for those who lagged behind.
