Eye catching glimpses of the international tourist spot observing "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav"



Nalanda: Decked up with Saffron, White and Green lights, Nalanda Ruins, an International tourist spot of Bihar in Nalanda district, illuminated on the occasion of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" being observed Nationwide to commemorate the 75th year of Independence.

Nalanda International University, an Epitome of "Seat of Learning" till it was set ablaze by an invader Bakhityar Khilji at the end of 12th century, its Ruins excavated by Archeological Survey of India (ASI) were illuminating as a symbol of "Patriotism" on the eve of Independence Day.

The tricolour lights captivated the people who were astonished at its charm and delightfully captured the glimpse in their lenses.

Enthused with the free entry commencing from August 1, offered by the ASI till August 15, hundreds of people visited the International Heritage Site of UNESCO.
