Tejasvi prohibits his minister from buying new official vehicles for them
He asks them to avoid extravagances
Patna: Apparently exasperated with the controversies surfacing every day involving ministers from RJD fold in Bihar government, the Deputy chief minister Tejasvi Prasad Yadav on Saturday issued a charter of "Dos and Donts" with instructions to remain cautious towards their public conduct, follow the ethics and avoid extravagances.
Reminding the ministers of the ethos of governance, Tejasvi asked the newly inducted ministers in the Bihar government especially belonging to his own party, RJD to adopt a work culture for speedy implementation of governments schemes.
He also asked them to remain dedicated towards their work and function honestly under the leadership of the chief minister Nitish Kumar.
Tejasvi, strictly prohibited the ministers representing RJD in the state government from purchasing new office vehicles for themselves in their respective department.
He instructed them to propagate the activities of their department as well as the welfare steps taken up by the Chief Minister and spread positive messages through social media.
The charter of dos and donts laid special emphasis on the conduct of the ministers in public domain. Tejasvi has asked them asked not to let any elderly worker, supporter or well wisher touch their feet as such action send wrong message. He suggested to promote the tradition of "pranam, namaste and abab".
Concerned with the rough tung of the leaders towards the people, he asked the ministers to be soft spoken towards the people and help the needy persons without any prejudice of caste, creed or religion . He suggested them to help the needy on priority basis.
Instead of presenting a bouquet, the RJD leader suggested to promote offering books and pen as mark of respect.
