New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is learnt to have assured the aspirants taking the ongoing UPSC main examinations and also slated to take 67th BPSC PT to be held on September 21 to look into the dates of the PT of BPSC in view of it being held amid the UPSC mains.

A deligation of the aspirants called on Nitish Kumar in New Delhi on Thursday and apprised him about their constraints in taking the BPSC PT, dates of which were announced on late Wednesday evening. The students gave him an application requesting him to review the dates of BPSC PT considering their problems as they were also appearing for the UPSC mains scheduled to commence from September 16.

After meeting with the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in New Delhi, the aspirants said that the CM told them that he was unaware about announcement of the date for conducting BPSC PT on September 21 amid the written examinations of UPSC.

The aspirants said that the Chief Minister assured them to look into their issues after he returns to Patna. 

Apparently pleased after calling on Nitish Kumar, the students said that Bihar Chief Minister heard them patiently and also asked them to give their best for UPSC and other competitions.

 Meanwhile the aspirants who were taking both UPSC and BPSC landed in trouble following announcement of the date of 67th  BPSC PT .

It may be recalled that the UPSC in its annual calendar had already announced the dates for mains examination for the year 2022. Ss per the schedule of UPSC ,the mains examinations would be held on September 16, 17, 18, 24 and 25.

The students appearing for the mains written examination of UPSC, were finding it difficult to take the BPSC 67th PT on September 21 as it would be difficult for them to take to and fro journey amid the prestigious UPSC mains examinations.

Meanwhile Nitish Kumar flew Gaya from New Delhi to inaugurate the rubber dam project in Falgu river and is scheduled to return to Patna this evening.
