RJDs role larger in new Grand Alliance government: Lalu



Patna: Ailing Rashtriya Janta Dal Chief ( RJD ) Lalu Prasad Yadav was again active in politics since his party being the largest constituent unit of the Grand Alliance plays a prominent role in the new government of led by Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, and was trying to strengthen his organisation in a new way.

For this Mr Yadav visited his party office in Patna on Wednesday after his party came back to power and interacted with the party workers during his over one hour stay. 

Mr Yadav during his interaction with the party workers exhorted them to serve the common people to maintain the mass base of RJD and work with more zeal and vigour.

He appealed to them to carefully discharge their responsibilities as alliance partner in the Grand Alliance government.

The party workers were enthused to see their leader in party office after long gap.

After getting the information of visit of RJD supremo, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and his younger son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav too joined his father in the party office.

Later Mr Yadav conducted a meeting with the party office bearers and discussed the strategies for the RJD National Conclave to be held in Delhi. Mr.Yadav also took stock of the arrangements being made in this connection and asked the party workers to remain cautious towards the arrangements for the conclave to be attended by several delegates and party members from other states.
