New Delhi: Admiring his hard work and dedication towards the party, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) appointed its senior leader and party Vice President of Bihar unit, Naveen Kumar as Media Coordinator.
NCP Permanent Secretary and member working committee S R Kohli said here on Monday that in view of Mr Kumars contributions, the NCP National Vice President Prafull Patel entrusted him with the new responsibility.
The appointment letter issued this evening stated that appointment of Mr Kumar to the post has been made with immediate effect.
Handing over the letter to Mr Kumar in the party office in New Delhi , Mr Kohli hoped that he would discharge the new responsibilities conferred upon him with greater zeal and enthusiasm.
Enthused with his elevation, Mr Kumar told The Vibrant News here that under the new role he would try to reach to the people through media to expand the NCPs mass base across the Nation. Under the changed scenario, the face of media has changed and has taken a new dimension, Mr Kumar said adding that for maximum outreach of the partys programmes, ideologies and mission, he would try to place them strongly before various forms of media. The NCP leader said that for this, media cell of the party would soon be constituted in all states.
Extending his gratitude towards the senior leaders of NCP, Kumar said that recognising his sincerity, long hard work, commitment and dedication towards the organisation, the partys top leaders decided to elevate him with a larger role as Media Coordinator.
Finding his new assignment as "challenging", Mr Kumar said that he would strive for living up to the expectations of the NCP National President Sharad Pawar, MP Prafulla Patel and Supriya Sule, Former Speaker of Delhi Assembly Yoganand Shastri, party General Secretary K.K. Sharma, National executive member S.R Kohli and others.
