Congress forfeited its deposits in by election in Telangana after Rahul Gandhi visited the state during his yatra



Patna: Blaming Congress for supporting "Tukde Tukde Gang", BJP Rajyasabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that following its 30 years long dependency on RJDs crutches in Bihar, Congress was desperate and frustrated to such an extent that no yatra can revive it.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi alleged that the "Tukde Tukde Gang" forces which had chanted slogans for disintegration of India into pieces were active in the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Rahul Gandhi. "India is intact" but the Congress was supporting divisive forces, the Tukde Tukde Gang, said Mr Modi.

Terming Bharat Jodo Yatra just a "Photo Session" event of Rahul Gandhi, Mr Modi alleged that this yatra has failed to generate any political impact.

Speaking about the political fall out of the yatra, he said that Congress forfeited its deposits in the by elections in Telangana after Rahul Gandhi crossed the state in due course of his yatra.

The BJP MP alleged that Rahul Gandhi could not dare to plan his yatra in the poll bound states of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
 
Mr Modi said, initiating his yatra from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) - CPM ruled state of Kerala from where only 20 MPs get elected, Rahul Gandhi spent 19 days there. Uttar Pradesh which elects 80 MPs, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to spend only 5 days and Bihar which sends 40 MPs is not in the list of Rahul Gandhi.
