Abudhabi, Sept 23 ( TVN) Delhi capital (DC) with equal ownership of GMR group and JSW group won the match against Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH) owned by Kalanithi Maran, founder of the Sun TV network by 8 wickets.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) match was held at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Abudhabi of United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bat first. David Warner returned to the playing XI of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) but was knocked out on the 3rd ball of the first over. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) scored 134 runs on 9 wickets whereas Delhi Capitals had a strong middle order partnership and scored the same with 13 balls left.
The player of the match award was given to Anrich Nortje of Delhi Capitals (DC) for taking two wickets.
