Mumbai : Aryan Khan, 23 years old son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was arrested in a cruise rave party off Mumbai coast Sunday.
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sources informed that Aryan Khan who along with seven others including Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra and Arbaaz Merchant was detained after the cruise was raided on a tip off on late Saturday night, was finally arrested on Sunday afternoon after interrogation. Aryan has been arrested under Section 8C, 20B, 27 read with 35 of the NDPS Act.
Prior to his arrest Aryan Khan was taken to JJ Hospital for a medical check-up. The agency arrested Aryan Khan along with two others after medical examination.
The NCB recovered several drugs, including MDMA/Ecstasy, MD (Mephedrone), Cocaine and charas from the ship after it went 100 nautical miles away from the coast.
The NCB sources informed that the drugs from the shoes of Aryan Khan wad recovered.Aryan Khan, however denied hus involvement in the drugs saying that he visited the party as he was called by the organisers as ‘Guest’ under the pretext of fashion show.
Meanwhile Satish Maneshinde, a Criminal counsel will be representing Aryan Khan at Killa Court in connection with the case.
The NCB sources said that 13 gm cocaine, 21 gm charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstacy), 5 gm MD, and Rs1.33 lakh in cash were recovered from the
cruise rave party.
