Sharjah : King Kohlis heart devastated in the last match of his captaincy as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) knocked Royal challengers Banglore (RCB) by 4 wickets in the second play-off match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah,  United Arab Emirates (UAE) . 

RCB won the toss and opted to bat. For the first wicket RCB put 49 in 5.1 overs. Devdutt Padikkal scored 21 runs but when Sunil Narine took four important wickets of Virat Kohli (39), Srikar Bharat (9), Glenn Maxwell (15), AB de Villiers  (11). RCB scored a total of 138 runs on seven wickets. 

While chasing 139 runs KKR batsman Shubman Gill (29), Venkatesh Iyer (26), Nitish Rana (23) played well . The star of the match Sunil Narine (26)  played a role of  hitter to perfection as he smashed three sixes in Daniel Christians first over. 

The match was a last over thriller because Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammad Shiraj took 2 wickets individually at regular intervals. 
Sunil Narine was awarded the man of the match.
