Dubai : In the first warm of match of team India for T20 World Cup 2021 held in Dubai, Indian team defeated England by 7 wickets.
After winning the toss , India opted to bowl.
England started with a couple of good shots but lost their first wicket on 36 runs of Jos Buttler (18) and second on 47 of Jason Roy (17). Jonny Bairstow (49) , Liam Livingstone (30) and Moeen Ali (43*) played well and put a total of 188 runs on 5 wickets. Mohammad Shami was the highest wicket taker as he took three wickets for team India.
In chase of 189 runs, India had a dazzling start as the opening pair put 82 runs for the first wicket. KL Rahul was dismissed by Mark Wood at the very next ball of his Fifty. However, Ishan Kishan continued and played a magnificent inning of 70 runs.
Skipper Virat Kohli scored 11 runs and was caught by Adil Rashid. Rishabh Pant (29) and Hardik Pandya (12) remained not out and took India over a victory of 7 wickets with 6 balls left.
