Tundla: North Central Railway General Manager Mr Pramod Kumar unfurled the Tricolour on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day.
While hoisting the National flag at the NCR Headquarters, Mr Kumar elaborated the importance of the Indian Constitution in the maintaining democracy of the country. He said that Republic Day, the National Festival commemorates the historic day of the rise of the glorious republic and the adoption of the Constitution.
Mr. Kumar, on the occasion inspected the parade of Railway Protection Force, Bharat Scouts and Guides and St. John Ambulance Brigade. He also honoured 18 railway workers for their excellent performance.

The GM NCR congratulated the player and wrestler Mr Ravi and Vikas for winning medals in National Championship and athletes Chhavi, Kavita, Ragini, Nandini, Rishu, bodybuilder Mr Maheep and power lifters Amanpreet and Sandeep for winning medals in Inter Railway Championship. He also extended his heartiest congratulations to the entire womens hockey team including Olympians Gurjeet and Nisha for the best ever performance in the Inter Railway Championship.
