Government should investigate the reason for decline in the number of stray dogs after the mutton party
Patna: The leader of the opposition in the Bihar Legislature Vijay Kumar Sinha said that stray dogs were missing in large numbers in Munger after the Mutton party thrown by the ruling JD(U) National President and MP Lalan Singh.
While talking to the news persons, Mr Sinha said here on Tuesday that people of Munger have raised the issue of the stray dogs missing in large numbers since the event was over. He said if the complaints of the people of Munger were true, then the chances of spread of diseases were high.
Demanding high level enquiry into the complaints of people, Mr Sinha alleged that the contractors had infused their money in organising the mutton party of Lalan Singh.
Replying to the queries of media persons regarding the allegations of distribution of liquor in the said mutton party as leveled by BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary, Mr Sinha said thorough investigation is required.
He said a large number of people had thronged into the party.
In a satirical vein Mr Sinha said if the votes can be mould by throwing mutton parties, several leaders would prefer to throw such parties.
The BJP leader said that to expose the truth, the entire matter needs to be probed by a sitting judge of Patna High Court.
